Gradient mixer (resistant to organic) is a device which can make the components of solution change gradually in a set way. It can be used to control the change of solubility or acidity of a component in solution. It has a wide range of uses in chemical analysis, separation and purification of various organic and natural substances. When the gradient mixer of Jiapeng uses ion exchange chromatography to separate biomacromolecule, it often needs eluent with continuous pH gradient or continuous ion intensity gradient; when preparing and separating a sample by ultracentrifugation, it also needs to make continuous density gradient, etc. There are two ways to make continuous gradient with gradient mixer: Volume Control and flow rate control.

Precautions for use of TH-300A gradient mixer (gradient mixer):

1. Please put the mixing magnet into the right cup, place the gradient cup on the control box, and adjust the cup so that the mixing magnet in the right cup can rotate in the center position. (speed up gradually when adjusting, otherwise it will cause out of step and damage the cup)

2. Close (rotation direction to the left) mixing valve and output valve, pour the concentrated solution into the left cup, open (rotation direction to the right) mixing valve, let the solution penetrate into the right cup through the channel, and immediately close the mixing valve. Pour another diluted solution into the right cup so that the liquid level of the two cups is the same, and then open the mixing valve to keep the two liquid levels in balance.

3. If there are bubbles in the channel between the two cups, try to remove the bubbles before use.

4. Open the output valve and adjust the output flow slowly according to the required slope.
